I totally agree about the microfiber mop! I also switched to it and saved so much time. Have you tried using a squeegee for windows?
I’ve found that using a vacuum with a good filtration system makes a huge difference in cleaning efficiency, especially when tackling pet hair… It gets into the fibers better than any broom I’ve used. Have you considered a vacuum instead of just mopping?
Using a good quality spray bottle can make a huge difference too. I mix a little vinegar with water for a glass cleaner; it works wonders and is super cheap! Just make sure to use it on the right surfaces, since it can dull some finishes.
